These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PDFDancer API, web services, and hosted features (the "Service"), operated by The Famous Cat Ltd., a company registered in Hong Kong ("we," "our," or "us").
Our client SDKs are open source and distributed under their respective licenses.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You may use PDFDancer only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.
We grant you a non-exclusive, revocable right to use the hosted Service.
Your use of the open-source SDKs is governed solely by their respective open-source licenses (e.g., MIT or Apache-2.0).
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys secure. Do not share or resell them.
If you believe your credentials have been compromised, contact us immediately at support@pdfdancer.com.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
All paid plans are billed monthly, in advance, through our payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled. You may cancel anytime — there are no long-term commitments.
Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy. If you forget to cancel before renewal, contact us within 7 days and we'll issue a refund.
All official client SDKs (e.g., Java, Python, TypeScript) are open source and distributed under permissive licenses. You are free to use, modify, and redistribute them under those licenses.
These Terms apply only to the hosted API and paid Service, not the SDKs themselves.
We strive to maintain high availability for all hosted services.
We make reasonable efforts to restore service as quickly as possible in the event of an interruption.
Support is available by email at support@pdfdancer.com.
Enterprise and self-hosted versions are governed by separate written agreements. If a conflict exists between that agreement and these Terms, the Enterprise agreement prevails.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that processed PDFs will be error-free or compatible with all readers.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Famous Cat Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to PDFDancer during the preceding three months.
You may cancel your account or subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
Upon termination, all rights granted under these Terms cease immediately.
We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using PDFDancer, you consent to that processing.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If material changes occur, we'll notify you by email or through our website.
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Hong Kong.
